Dear Valued Customers:
Singapore Customs Clearance Company informed MyPoz regarding the severe punishments for shipping banned or restricted goods to Singapore. Once the customs officers inspect, they have the right to confiscate the goods and handling fee between SGD 100-400 per order if the recipient does not possess the permit.
The following are the categories of banned/ restricted goods listed by Singapore Customs:
- Electronic cigarettes/ vapes;
- Police weapons such as telescopic sticks;
- Living animals, plants, soil;
- Drugs/ sex products;
- Gun toys, katana, swords;
- Electrical vehicles and scooters with batteries, etc.;
- Food, meat, eggs, sugar, white powder, drinks, tobacco, alcohol, fruits, vegetables, seafood, etc. and other general foods or tools that contact the mouth (such as cups, spoons, etc.) All these within RMB200 and 4kg can be shipped without permit, kindly consult customer service before shipping;
- Wireless electronic products, such as Bluetooth earphones, require an IMDA certificate (mobile phones for personal use and within SGD400 can be shipped without permit);
- All laser products, unless customers can provide NEA permit
- Other items are restricted by local customs regulations.
